Fun Book Finds: It’s A Book by Lane Smith

I work in a book store. I love working in a book store. It seems like every day I’m coming across some fun, strange, interesting, crazy, unusual, campy, wonderful book that I had no idea existed. Not all of them are books I’d actually take time to read, but they make me smile, and I’m glad they’re available for someone who’ll appreciate them.

With that thought in mind, I’m starting this new feature for the site. On a somewhat regular basis, I’d like to share some of my finds. Please keep in mind, most of these are NOT going to be reviews. I’m simply going to put the information out there, and you can let me know if you read and like the books. They’re going to be coming from all genres, all subjects. Anything that catches my attention is fair game here. If you come across any book that makes you’d like to share, feel free to let me know by emailing me the title and author (and name you’d like credit given to for the find) to

I hope you enjoy the feature, I think it’s going to be a lot of fun! NOW… for my first Fun Book Find …

This book takes all of about 4 minutes to read, but I’ll remember it and be talking about it for weeks, if not longer! I love love love it. It’s simple, intended for children, but it’s mildly snarky and absolutely hilarious for all of us adults who keep finding ourselves wrapped up in the paper vs. screen conversation.

I’d love to hear what you think about it!
