Giving Thanks, and Giving Things Away!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you lovelies who live in the United States. (And everyone who takes time to be thankful, regardless of the day.)

A couple of the authors who’ll be attending Olde City, New Blood wanted to help celebrate the holiday, and the event, by giving away a few things. Then, YOU’LL have a few more things to be thankful for! :-)

Mary Calmes is a beloved name in the M/M fiction community. Her books cover a wide spectrum of topics, from dramatic contemporary romance, to action packed paranormals. For us, she’s offering up the complete collection of her paranormal romance WARDER Series short stories (2 print anthologies, 3 stories each), and they’ll be autographed for the winner!!

Elisabeth Staab is attracting quite the following for her new urban fantasy series, starting with KING OF DARKNESS (follow up, PRINCE OF POWER, will be out in January). She’s going to award one lucky reader FREE registration to Olde City, New Blood in Florida in February!! (Winner is responsible for travel and hotel costs.)

One thing I’m thankful for are all the authors who spend so much time, effort, and emotion bringing us stories we love.

Comment below with something YOU’RE thankful for this Thanksgiving, or something you’re looking forward to this holiday season, for your chance to win one of the prizes above. Please mention which prize, the autographed WARDER Series from Mary or the Olde City, New Blood registration from Elisabeth, you’d like to win. Every comment is one entry into the random drawing… if you post about this giveaway on your facebook or twitter, and include the link in the comments, that will earn you a second entry! Contest will run from now til December 1st, midnight pacific. Winners will be announced and contacted on December 2nd.

I’m thankful for all of YOU, my lovely readers, and I hope you’ve had a fantastic holiday. Good luck!!

I am so thankful that my youngest is healthy. Well all of my family, but we had some time in ICU last winter and a luekemia scare with her, so it really focuses the joy on her health.

I’m thankful for my family. I moved several states away from them a few months ago, and didn’t get to go see them for Thanksgiving which was saddening. But I will get to go see them for Xmas. :D

I’m entering the WARDER series contest, because I’m already registered for OCNB. Can’t wait for it!

I am thankful for so much but mostly my boyfriend and books. My bf works so hard to provide for us and I just love him so much. I’m thankful for books because without them I would be a very bored and lonely person. Books have picked me up and helped me meet so many new and exciting people.

I am most thankful for my family and am excited about seeing them this holiday season.

While I am thankful for the gifts Mary and Elizabeth have generously donated, it would be Mary’s signed books that I would really prefer.

Hopefully, what follows will be the link to the Tweet I made about this give-away: https://twitter.com/Grannie_4_7/status/273544743747719168

    Thank you!

I am really, truly thankful for everything in my life! My family is healthy and happy, the few close friends that I have are amazing, my husband has a wonderful job that supports us, music, blogging, Facebook, and any other way of keeping in contact with all of the wonderful authors, bloggers and readers out there. And last, but not least, BOOKS!! I am thankful that if I am having a stressful day, I can pick up my Kindle or PB and lose myself in the story and characters, at least for a little while.
Thank you for this wonderful giveaway! And, since I live in Fl, I would love the Olde City, New Blood registration from Elisabeth!

Wow, I am so late to this! I have been off FB for the past 3 weeks trying to handle some family issues, my dad being in the hospital, catching some feral kittens to socialize, working full time and…yeah, everything else. So what am I thankful for? My wonderful authors who I have been reading to keep my sanity through all this; God, for bringing my dad through; and my family for being there for me no matter what whacky things I do, and last, but not least, my wonderful and supportive FB friends!

I’m thankful everyday for my elementary school librarian who spent so much time with me, introducing me to books and sharing and instilling a love for reading that is so strong I am now doing my best to pass it along.
