Rec My Weekend #2 – Little Goddess

Rec My Weekend is a new weekend feature here. A new way for me to share something I’ve discovered this week, or an old favorite, and a way for YOU to help me increase my already-taller-than-me “to be read” pile. Because, really, there is NO SUCH THING AS TOO MANY BOOKS!! Feel free to share your “Rec My Weekend” recs in the comments below!

About once a year, I take advantage of having my own blog to direct readers to one of my very favorite series. Amy Lane’s Little Goddess series is near and dear to my heart. I love it, I love it, I love it.

This is a love story. It’s Cory, Adrian, Bracken, and Green’s story; filled with fae, vampires, weres, and all manner of creature. Things get a little crazy for the girl who didn’t know about supernatural beings, and wanted nothing more than to make her way out of her sleepy little town. She finds the magic around her, in the form of Adrian, the vampire. Life isn’t always happy or easy, but it’s always worth the fight. And there is always love.

Amy tells the kind of story that makes you want to wrap the books up in a hand-knit blanket and snuggle with them at night. She’ll break your heart, then make it whole again. The dialogue is fantastic, and the worldbuilding is absolutely beautiful.

You’ll laugh, you’ll worry, you’ll want to smack people… and you’ll fall in love.

We’re waiting patiently (or maybe not so) for the next book in the Little Goddess series, Quickening. You’ll find a snippet, graciously provided by Amy to tide us over until the writing is done, HERE. This is DEFINITELY a spoiler for those of you who haven’t read the series yet.

Please, go… buy… read… and come let me know what you think 🙂
