Journey with me as we travel into the world of your dreams. Now imagine you and/or someone else having the ability to manipulate those dreams. I KNOW RIGHT!!!!!!!! There are definitely times when I am dreaming that I wish I could change the script mid-dream.

Overall, the book was intense. I found myself spending time trying to figure out what was going on and trying to keep track of it all. This worked for me because I love a good mystery. The action started almost from the beginning. I can’t really get into the characters because that would – in my opinion – give away too much of the book. So instead I am going to tell you what I liked about the book and what I did not like about the book.

What I liked about the book

  • The fact that the action started almost from the beginning
  • The ability to relate to Jordan because I have my own Maisie in my own life
  • The intensity of the main male character and the fact that I found myself questioning if he was truly good or was he really bad
  • There was action, there was romance, there was suspense

What I didn’t necessarily like about the book

  • At first I was so confused about what was going on because I felt it need more of a staging paragraph or two; something to set the mood or scene
  • Even though the action started almost from the beginning, because I was so confused, I found myself looking for reasons to put the book down ( this is part of why I am not giving it a 5 star rating. Please keep in mind that this is just MY opinion based on what I like in a book and it should in no way deter you from reading it from cover to cover)
  • Once I got into the book, it ended without addressing all my questions. I realize there is a second book in this series, so I’m guessing that my outstanding questions will be answered later, but I would have liked a bit more closure on some issues in this book (this is the other part of why I am not giving this book a 5 star rating)

Overall this book was GOOD!!!! It drew me in and once I figured out what the book was about, it held me to the end. I even wanted MORE. To me, this is a book with a twist. I cannot wait to read book 2 of this series.

**Update – Tina’s review for book 2, LAY ME DOWN is posted!**
